Coustouges ITT is an individual time trial race with tough climbs. Only riders with time trial and climbing skills will have a chance here.
"Gimme a break", Harry says. "What's the reason of having riders with climbing skills when riders without these skills do equally well? Maybe we should just invest in riders that do well in flat TT's? I don't know yet. Perhaps teams that have quite a bit of experience in climbing TT's already knew this. We've never been there."

TT's can be so frustrating..
and the next race you get a 1-2.
Maybe your opponents have or had better race shape and or discipline? If a rider isn't in shape then I don't care how good of a TTer or climber he is supposed to be... Perhaps all the good TT / climbers were out of shape and the win defaulted to the next best rider?
yes I did have a look at the first spots in the race. Climbing Tters have only a few good shots in a season and in some tours going for GC. (f.i. Lonergan winning Germany and hilling TTers going for Essex and Cymru.)
I totally agree hence the reason for my PR. Take a look at the results if you have the time to do so. It made me wonder why even bother with a climbing TT'er. It also made me wonder if there's any logic i don't know.
A climbing TT is just like any other TT. With 2 differences. Climbers with TT center can score and TTers with good climbing skills can do steady and scoring points.
